Where to find Authentic Hotteok (Korean Pancake) in Metro Manila
Do you want to have a taste of Korea? Then have you tried hotteok (호떡)? These are sweet and savory Korean pancakes with filling and it's one of the most popular street food in South Korea. I recently discovered where to find authentic hotteok in Metro Manila.

We can now enjoy overflowing milk tea and fruit tea at home with Infinitea's Family Collection.
This week, I just received a message from Travelbook.ph saying that they are about to close down the business. It was sad news to hear them go, as I have personally collaborated with them over the past years by promoting some of their clients through this blog and through my social media. They were very fun to work with and communicating with them was flawless. I feel so bad to see them go. This pandemic has definitely hit us bad so much.
You may relate with me when I say that most of us may have had an experience of spending hours on online shopping and adding things to cart because it was on sale, or that it was relatively cheap but it had good reviews. That's how I discovered Focallure.
Before the lockdown due to the pandemic, I was able to try the newly-opened Ortigas Cinemas in Estancia.
The ticket booth gives quite a luxurious vibe and there's not much crowd. I think this is going to be my new favorite cinema. The price of tickets? Quite similar to SM Megamall's Pricing.
The first thing that tried was The Screening Room. The seats here are fancier than the regular ones. I was also able to try the regular seating but I wasn't able to take photos of it. The difference aside from the seats? The Screening Room has its own comfort room. You may need to talk a short walk to the comfort room for the regular seating--I find this quite crucial if you want to take a toilet break in the middle of a movie.
They did not allow outside food except Reel Bites. Here's a copy of the menu.

Everything is new and the seats are comfortable. There's a call button, controls for the recliner, a small lamp, and even a USB port at the side underneath the table.

Fireside is offering new items on the menu, and we were just recently invited to try them out.
Have you been feeling a bit off lately? Moody? Stressed? Mercury is in retrograde again and we may all feel worse during these days (you may feel more frustrated, anxious, or impatient, etc.). Recently, I tried a new way to unwind and it's called sound healing.
Robin and I had our late lunch here at Texas Roadhouse one weekend when we attended an event at SMX.
Tokyo Milk Cheese Factory opens its second cafe in Estancia at Capitol Commons. I was invited recently to their media launch and was able to try most of the dishes that they offer on the menu.
During our recent visit to Cagayan de Oro, we stayed at
Last December, I was invited to the Philippine Sommelier Association's event, Manila Uncorked 2019. It features wine classes, chef throwdowns, sommelier wine flights, and over 300 wine labels.
