Sound healing is a practice that uses vibrations to relax your mind and body. It has been used for centuries already and is believed to relieve ailments, stress, anxiety, and even insomnia. Personally, I find sound healing to be effective for me whenever I am experiencing insomnia. I have a Spotify playlist for sound healing (check out my sound healing Spotify playlist) that helps me fall asleep; but recently, I decided to try and attend a live sound healing session. I must say, the experience was totally different and way better than simply listening to recorded music. 

Weekend pampering has led me to Pink Parlour and  I was able to score a good deal as well as book an appointment with Travelbook.ph. 

We always want to achieve that flawless and hair-free skin and there have always been a lot of ways to choose from. As for me, I go to Whipped to have my sugar waxing to achieve that hair-free skin and scrubbing for that soft baby skin. 

Oftentimes, I am stressed and one of the things that I love to do to relax and unwind is go to the spa and have myself pampered. Whenever I would go to Kitchenails, I would pick one of their Entrees for my foot spa or hand spa service. Kitchenails (Trinoma Branch) is located at the third floor of Trinoma near the Mindanao carpark. I was well pampered by having my foot spa entree, pedicure, and manicure. The place is very cozy and comfortable. The staff made sure that I was really taken care of.

Entering Kitchenails feels like entering a restaurant. A chef will welcome you at their reception and ask for your order. Here's a copy of their menu (click to view larger image). By the way, I chose their Easy Sunday Afternoon (Best of Entree).  

What's a kitchen without food in it? Kitchenails offers a free dessert buffet for their customers as well as free drinks. Something that I have never seen in other nail spas. I love their macaroons and their melon juice. 

Kitchenails cares about their client's safety and satisfaction. That's why before having my "order" they asked a series of questions so they can serve you in the best possible way. 

It's cute that they use kitchen utensils for their nail services. And they refer to their services as "baking." 

Last weekend, I was convinced by my sisters (who do yoga) to try it out for the first time. Aside from them, I also have friends who do yoga as their workout but it never crossed my mind that I would try it someday since my workout preference is more on Muay Thai and swimming. In spite of having doubts in my head, I decided to give it a try since I always find it nice to try something new. 

Lip and Cheek tints are an essential part of my cosmetic kit because they save me from emergency situations whenever I am in the need to freshen-up. They also last longer than powdered blush and non-waterproof lipstick!
