Focus on Look and Feel (Whipped)

July 29, 2016 Phantasm Darkstar 0 Comment(s)

Ladies, we always want that flawless look on our skin. We want to flaunt those hairless legs, but we always forget about how it should feel. Often times, women would shave their legs to achieve that smooth look, but it would not feel right. Shaving can make your skin feel bumpy. It can also make your hair thicker, compared to waxing.

Started in 2015, Soul Potato is an International comfort food place that specializes in mashed potatoes, offering familiar flavors with their own style and twist.
Chef Juno Ang and Matet De Leon, whose both husbands are chefs, are good friends and loved the idea of different potato dishes as well as serving different cuisines in one place. They then decided to put up Soul Potato here in Pioneer St Market to explore dishes that would appeal to all markets. The dream was to offer proper culinary cooked food, delicious with big servings and of course, an affordable price range.

Tramezzino, your one stop panini shop at Pioneer Street Market. Tried their Steak Bacon and Blue Cheese Panini. Panini is a grilled sandwich made from bread other than sliced bread (Wikipedia, 2016). It was sating but I'm not a fan of blue cheese so I did not enjoy it very well.

A Night at Midas

July 12, 2016 Phantasm Darkstar 0 Comment(s)

I had a complimentary stay at the Midas Hotel and Casino this month and was given an executive room. Mixing glamour, contemporary style, and cutting-edge culture, Midas Hotel and Casino amplifies Manila's vibrancy with artistic ambiance and local flair. Nestled along the majestic stretch of the city's famed sunset boulevard, the hotel embraces an atmosphere that is stylishly piquant, making it a place that's at once an exciting destination and comforting cocoon.

Sharing a glimpse of my stay at the hotel:

Pros: Great ambiance. Friendly hotel staff. Near to the airport with airport transfer, restaurants, and the Mall of Asia with shuttle service. Buffet dining at the Midas Cafe. Lounge. Casino. Valet and laundry service. Fitness center. Spa services.

Cons: No swimming pool.

Thank you, Midas Hotel for the accommodation! :)
