During our recent visit to Cagayan de Oro, we stayed at Bridge Hotel. Sharing our hotel experience in this post. (Image courtesy of Booking.com

Bridge Hotel is located on the third floor of De Leon Building Square, Pabayo-Cruz Taal Sts., 9000 Cagayan de Oro. What I liked about Bridge Hotel are their Scandinavian-inspired interiors. The staff are also warm and accommodating, which makes me appreciate the City of Golden Friendship more. Check-in was also hassle-free and quick. The hotel's location is convenient in the sense that restaurants, convenience stores, and public transport are all just a walking distance from it. The only inconvenience that I found when going to this hotel was the absence of an elevator. We had to carry our luggage up to the third floor through the stairs. Though, I believe they would be glad to assist you if you ask for it.
They provide free-flowing coffee at the lobby, just don't forget to bring your mug which is provided in your room.
They also provide an iMac in case you need to access the internet for some documents such as flight tickets, and other important business.
We booked the Deluxe Room which features a large double bed. The bed and duvet are comfortable, as well as the generous amount of pillows. We were able to have a good night's sleep. Free WiFi is available and they have a really good connection--we were able to play online games without lag.
Rooms are air-conditioned. A flat-screen cable TV is available, as well as mugs, hangers, and complimentary slippers. What I liked about the room is that it's well-lit and looks neat. We've check-out some nearby hotels in the area, and they look a bit haunted. (Disclaimer: this is not a sponsored post). All rooms at Bridge Hotel are non-smoking.
Toiletries are free and replenished daily. Towels are provided, and the water pressure in the bathroom was also good. The towels, however, don't smell fresh for me.
The housekeeping does a great job of cleaning up our room. There was a time that I was in a hurry, I left a bit of a mess on the bed and didn't bother to ask for a make-up room service. I was surprised to come back to a cleaned room and fixed bed. Then they just put back my stuff where I left them (on the bed). I kinda felt embarrassed because I normally tidy up before asking for any make-up room service, but a good job for the housekeeping staff.
We would definitely choose Bridge Hotel again if we would go back to the same area in CDO.
