We recently visited one of the leading culinary schools in the Philippines, Moderne Culinaire Academy. Sharing about our MCA visit experience. (Photo courtesy of MCA).

Moderne Culinaire Academy is one of the leading culinary schools in the Philippines. It is strategically located in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City. Its facilities include state-of-the-art kitchens, dining and restaurant facilities, lecture rooms, a full bar, Wi-Fi access, and a culinary research center. 
The school is formed by a team of highly experienced and dedicated Chef Instructors whose common goal is to provide the highest quality culinary education through hands on approach. Chef Instructors were carefully selected on the basis of their experience and ability to transform whose common goal is to provide the highest quality culinary education through hands on approach. 
We were able to experience a class with them by having a cupcake design session from Mr. Markus Elegino a.k.a. The Boy Who Bakes (Owner and Executive Patissier Chef of Markus Patisserie and Bistro).

Here's what I did for mine. I did my best to make it look classy. Very me, since I love ripe mangoes and gold. Hihi.

After graduation, students from MCA will have options to hold Chef positions in restaurants, cruise ships, hotels, resorts, corporate banquet, airline catering, schools, hospitals, government agencies, and other private and public facilities all over the world. With the vast number of opportunities within the food industry, they may also prefer to become restaurateurs. 
After the cupcake design class and a tour of the school, we had a five-course meal in their event facility. The place was designed by Event Stylist Mark Santos while the dishes were made by MCA students. 
For our appetizer, we had the Maui Ahi Tuna Poke. Marinated tuna in soy sauce and sesame oil on avocado.
"Yam Sam O" for our salad. Authentic Thai popular pomelo salad in a basket. 
Bouillabaisse. Traditional French seafood stew of Provence for our soup. 
Cuisses de Poulet Farci Aux Marsala for our main course. Stuffed chicken leg with Marsala sauce. 
Cheese Cake for dessert. A combination of purple yam and cheese cake.
