How Foot Spa Benefits You (Kitchenails)

Oftentimes, I am stressed and one of the things that I love to do to relax and unwind is go to the spa and have myself pampered. Whenever I would go to Kitchenails, I would pick one of their Entrees for my foot spa or hand spa service. Kitchenails (Trinoma Branch) is located at the third floor of Trinoma near the Mindanao carpark. (See related post: Be a Princess at Kitchenails).

Foot spa is not just relaxing, but it also has a lot of benefits to offer you:
1. Relieves Stress
Foot spa and massage stimulates the solar plexus reflex, which aids in allowing your body to manage stress and keep you grounded at the same time. Not only that having a foot spa can keep your feet clean, the massage also helps in improving blood circulation. Getting a foot spa can get you energized afterwards.
2. Benefits Arthritis Problem
Foot spa gets rid of the tension in the muscles and joints.
3. Cures headache, Indigestion and Acidity
Massaging the feet stimulates points that helps to cure headaches, migraine, acidity, joint pain and indigestion.
4. Helpful in cases of Insomnia
Foot massage is helpful in treating insomnia for some cases. It is also helpful in case of low levels of energy and reduced enthusiasm.
5. Helps in Achieving Balance
When you are stressed, every system in your body is in constant chaos, which can make you feel anxious and jittery. Foot spa generates homeostasis or a state of harmony and balance in your body, and this is esential in giving you better health. The rubbing and pressing of the feet and toes also promotes proper circulation of blood and energy.
When nerve endings and pathways are blocked, you may be prone to fatigue and lethargy since energy is held back from flowing smoothly throughout your body. Foot spa addresses this issue, and the principles of reflexology releases energy blockages that facilitate a sense of well-being without the use of unnatural techniques.
6. Detoxifies Your Body
Toxins accumulate in your body due to a wide range of factors including diet, stress and unhealthy lifestyles. Furthermore, toxic substances cause blockages that prevent the blood from circulating freely, which impacts its ability to transport nutrients and oxygen to cells necessary for growth. Wastes also rely on blood to be flushed away from your body.
Unfortunately, when your blood is unable to move smoothly, toxins remain in your body and trigger diseases. With the help of foot massage, stress is reduced as toxins and waste products are eliminated once blood circulation improves.

My Top Nail Polish Picks (Kitchenails)

(Photo credits to: Lion In the Wild). "Nails take any old outfit and make it new" -Essie. One of the difficult decisions for a woman is choosing her nail polish. It must be able to fit your mood, personality, or whatever plans that you may have for the following week or two before you plan to switch to another color; and then the cycle goes on again with the struggle of picking a new one.

Be a Princess at Kitchenails (Trinoma)

It's time to feed your senses and be treated like a princess! Had my hand and foot spa done with manicure and pedicure and I must say that their service is superb! Kitchenails (Trinoma Branch) is located at the third floor of Trinoma near the Mindanao carpark. (See my previous blog post: REST AND RELAXATION AT KITCHENAILS).

Upon entering, I was warmly welcomed by Chef Joan who takes the orders of the clients.

The friendly and accomodating staff of Kitchenails. Each one of them will call you, Princess and treat you as one. (Disclaimer: Not that my name is Princess, but they also call other customers that way. e.g. Princess Jen, Princess Kath)

I was served by Wen and Liselle during my stay and they always work with a smile on their faces.

I was well pampered by having my foot spa entree, pedicure, and manicure. The place is very cozy and comfortable. The staff made sure that I was really taken care of.

Rest and Relaxation at Kitchenails (Trinoma)

In spite of being a busy person, I always make it to a point that I give myself time to unwind. Here is where Kitchenails come to my aid. Aside from their mani-pedi services which relaxes me, the ambiance of the place also makes you feel more at home.

Kitchenails (Trinoma): The Kitchenails Experience

Got invited at the opening of a new nail salon at Trinoma: Kitchenails. I was very excited to visit their first branch at the north since their other branch is all the way at Alabang Town Center (Hello, south peeps! You should check out their branch there). As a foodie who loves to spend time in the kitchen and someone who also loves to relax at nail spas from time to time, I love their idea of fusing these two concepts together: thus, Kitchenails.

Located at the third floor of Trinoma, Kitchenails can be hard to find. Just simply follow the way to Mindanao Avenue Parking to get there.

Entering Kitchenails feels like entering a restaurant. A chef will welcome you at their reception and ask for your order. Here's a copy of their menu (click to view larger image). By the way, I chose their Easy Sunday Afternoon (Best of Entree).

What's a kitchen without food in it? Kitchenails offers a free dessert buffet for their customers as well as free drinks. Something that I have never seen in other nail spas. I love their macaroons and their melon juice.

Kitchenails cares about their client's safety and satisfaction. That's why before having my "order" they asked a series of questions so they can serve you in the best possible way.

It's cute that they use kitchen utensils for their nail services. And they refer to their services as "baking."

Having my hands soaked in a baking pan.

(Left) They use Orly products which is known to be healthy for your nails. (Right) The cuticle remover is placed in a marinade injector. Really cute. I feel like I'm back in my childhood days where we play with random kitchen utensils.

They provide a jar where you could place your accessories for safe keeping while your hands are getting "baked."

Had a great experience from Kitchenails. Will definitely come back!
Thank you Team Aldous (Blog: Aldous Ate the World) for the invite.
