Waterside at Solaire Resorts & Casino Introduces Taco Tuesdays and Weekend Jam

Waterside has recently invited us through Zomato for the launch of their Taco Tuesdays and to experience their Weekend Jam. 
Located in Solaire Resort and Casino in Parañaque City, Waterside offers Latin American-Inspired Cuisine. The ambiance is cozy and sophisticated. I also like the Latin American touch on their decorations. 
As we were waiting for the dishes, we were served with complimentary bread, together with chimichurri sauce. Its quality and taste were good. 
The Salad Bar serves a wide variety of salad leaves, composed salads, with condiments and dressings. You can have it unlimited for only 480 pesos. 
Then we ordered the watermelon and mango juice. It was definitely made from 100% fresh fruits.
The dishes have arrived and here is the menu for Taco Tuesdays. You can choose from hard shell or soft shell taco for only 100+ pesos per taco. You can also get 50% off on Mai Tai cocktails. 
For the soft shell taco, you may choose among Ancho Chicken, Huevos Rancheros, Chorizo, and Cochinita Pibil. I like the Huevos Rancheros most.
For the hard shell taco, you may choose among Cilantro Lime Beef, Cauliflower Al Pastor, Baja Fish, and Chicken Enchilada. Here, I like the Baja Fish most because of the corn salsa. 
For the Mai Tai, you may choose among Carribean, Trader Vic, and Coco Nut.
The Coco Nut is made of rum, orgeat, coconut peanut cream, and orange curacao. I think this is the mildest among the three but definitely has a good kick.
The Carribean is made of rum, orgeat, habanero lime, and passion fruit syrup. I find this as the most delicious yet it definitely has a high alcohol content. 
The Trader Vic is made of rum, orgeat, and orange curacao. The simplest among the three. 
Starting at 7pm on Fridays and Saturdays, Waterside holds its weekend jam with live music. Perfect for chilling out with family and friends after a week-long of work. It was Saturday night when we went there and they were playing Samba. It's very relaxing, not too loud (Signs of being a tita: I'm enjoying this. Haha!) and you can still have a good conversation with everyone on the table. 
Aside from the tacos and cocktails, we also had other dishes from Waterside.
Empanada. Spicy Mexican chorizo, potatoes, mojo verde, corn salsa.
Ceviche. Marinated kingfish, avocado leche de tigre, sweet potato, cancha corn, and pomelo. First time that I tried kingfish as ceviche. Delicious. 
Chaufa Fried Rice. Peruvian style fried rice, pork belly, chorizo, shrimp omelette, and sesame seeds. Also good. I like the shrimp inside. 
Arroz Con Mariscos. Peruvian seafood rice, scallops, shrimp, clams, aji amarillo, cream, and salsa criolla. This had a lot of seafood in it yet they go well with each other. I like this dish a lot. 
Camarones de Picante. Marinated charred prawns, black bean and sweet potato stew, cherry tomato and spring onion. 
Peruvian Chicken. Peruvian marinated chicken cooked on the rotisserie, grilled corn, and yucca fries. The fries were good and the chicken was juicy. 
After having the mains, I enjoyed their red wine sangria. 
Time for dessert. First up is the Churros and Chocolate. The churros were perfectly made, with melted chocolate dip on the side. Yum! I'd say the desserts of Waterside excited me. 
Next is the Mexican Bread Pudding. It's made with rum raisins, vanilla ice cream on the side, topped with condensed caramel sauce. It's really good. I love the taste as well as the texture--soft yet compact. 
Last is the Pumpkin Flan. It's a Latin American version of our leche flan. Topped with buko and mango. I could taste that there was coconut milk used in this flan. It was good, the texture is also good, though I would say that I enjoy the Filipino style more.
