We waste so much time on certain people and in the end they prove that they were not even worth a second of it. No matter how good you are to them, it doesn't mean they will treat you the same. No matter how much they mean to you, it doesn't mean they will value you. Sometimes, the people you love the most, turn out to be the people you should trust least.

During the worst storms in your life, you will get to see the true colors of the people who say they care about you. A person's true color only shows when you are no longer beneficial in his life. People pay more attention to what they are missing rather than what they have.

Betrayal breaks your heart and darkens your soul. No matter how hard you try, the pain lingers in the depths of your mind. Like a fog that blurs your path and crashes your car.

People would say that they would rather have an enemy's sword pierce through their heart than a friend's dagger at the back. Because it isn't about who you've known the longest. Fear what hugs you then stabs you, not the enemy who attacks you. Be careful who you share your weaknesses with, because some people only wait for the opportunity to use them against you.

The worst mistake a man can make is to betray a woman who fought the world for him, stood by him, and supported him when he is going through the worst in his life. Yet the most betrayal comes from a friend, not from your enemy. The pain goes beyond the physical--even further beyond any other emotional pain one can feel. Trust is earned, respect is given, and loyalty is demonstrated--betray one and you lose all three.

It's worse than death because death can be conceived, this happens in the most unexpected point in your life--the most excruciating type of pain. It makes you question everything about yourself.

Some people are willing to betray years of friendship just to get a little bit of the spotlight. If opportunity controls your loyalty then you should question your character. Check yourself. They say you'll never know one's worth until it's gone--but you always knew what you had, you just never thought you'd lose it.

Should you put people first if you always come last? Should you give your all, if you only get half? Be sure everyone in your boat is rowing, not drilling holes when you are not looking.

We all suffer with at least one betrayal in our lifetime. Before it happens, you need to trust first. How willing are you to give your trust to others when it happens? Will you take it away from them because one did you wrong? Who do you trust? How easy is it for one to forgive? Easier to an enemy than to a friend. It is never easy to handle.

Learn to fight alone. Someone will always treat you wrong, but remember to always keep it strong.

We can't depend on anyone in this world, and sometimes we even betray ourselves.
