We discovered amazing quick bites and crazy good baos in Kapitolyo. Sharing about our Don Bao experience here.

Don Bao is located on Victoria Plaza (behind Ace Hotel and Suites), Brixton Street, Kapitolyo, Pasig City. They offer a variety of Japanese fusion dishes and are also known for their baos.

Sharing the dishes that we have tried:
Appetizers
Kani Nachos. House-made potato chips with shredded kani and special cheese sauce. What I find amazing about this nachos is how creative they are in making this innovation and it's actually really good. I also love how generous they are with the toppings. This one is a little spicy and I love it.
Gyoza. They have hugely-sized gyoza. This is already good for sharing.
Bao or Bun
Bao is a type of steamed bun from Asian origin that can be filled with meat, seafood, vegetables or other ingredients.
Piggy Bao Ride. Pork katsu, teriyaki sauce, Japanese mayonnaise, cabbage, nori. Rich in flavor and delicious. This is my top pick.
Good Morning, Bao! Gyuniku, scrambled egg, garlic mayonnaise, cornflakes, tobiko. I haven't thought that corn flakes and baos would go well together. This isn't called, "Good morning, bao" for no reason. It's sating and high in energy that's great to start your day (breakfast or brunch).
Cheesy Bao. Gyuniku, cheese sauce, onion rings, spring onions. I like the onion rings a lot and the cheese make it more enjoyable.
Crazy Bao. Kani in eel sauce, Japanese mayonnaise, tempura flakes, tobiko, spring onions. It feels like having sushi with bao. Tastes good, too.
Don or Donburi
Unlimited Japanese Rice for all Dons for dine-in only.
Katsu Curry Don. Their katsu (breaded chicken) is tender and they serve a generous amount of curry. The Japanese rice is also good, you'd definitely have another cup (and enjoy their unlimited rice).
Buta Sisig Don. I'm a fan of sisig with rice and this innovation of having nori with sisig and their special condiments are just amazing. I love it.
Special Tendon. Huge serving of tempura. Tastes good. Also a fave pick.
Crispy Chicken Don. Crispy on the outside and tender inside.
Ramen
Tonkotsu Ramen. I like the soup a lot which I am often particular about when it comes to ramen. I like those which are creamy. The serving is good for sharing. Eggs are soft boiled. Pork is tender.
Dessert
Fried Bao with Nutella S'mores. It's cool that they prepared their s'mores differently--with one huge marshmallow.
Fried Bao with Milo and Condensed Milk. Eating this feels like reminiscing my childhood. I love milo and condensed milk.
Fried Bao with Ice Cream and Salted Caramel. Delectable.
