Apart from the remarkable skyline scenery, Vu’s Sky Bar and Lounge invites diners to indulge in its vast selection of cocktails, wines and other spirits together with a well-curated line-up of dishes that is a good mix of Filipino, Spanish and other Mediterranean favorites. “We wanted Vu’s Sky Bar and Lounge to revive the soul of Ortigas and regain its identity as a distinct area where you can celebrate the night away,” said Marco Polo Ortigas Manila’s Director of Restaurants, Bars and Events, Mirko de Giorgi. Vu's has recently launched their Aperitivo promo (from 5pm-8pm daily for 899 per person). Inspired by Anti Pasti Misto Buffet which the guest will have a buffet of Italian appetizers like cold cuts, pizza, cheeze, and croquettes with unlimited local beers and house wine. Here are some of the dishes that you can find at the buffet:
Baby Squid with Spanish Onions and Bell Peppers.
Tahina.
Baboganoush.
Marinated Grilled Artichoke Hearts, Eggplant and Capsicum.
Smoked Salmon and Cheese Roulade. This one is my favorite pick!
Cured Spanish Mackerel, Sweet Garden Peas, Feta Cheese, and Mint.
Landjaeger, Mortadella and Honey Ham.
Pico di Gallo.
Hummus.
Marinated Olives with Chili.
Garden Greens Salad on Parmigiano.
Brie, Emmental, and Edam Cheese. I took tons of the walnuts, too. Lol
We also made some ala carte orders such as the following:
Sisig Pizza. This is so good and it goes well with beer, I'm pretty sure of it. (Even if I hate beer).
Beef Angus Salpicao. Extra rice, please! Tender and flavorful, with mushrooms and a heavenly amount of garlic. Yum!
The Signature Earl Grape Iced Tea. Delighting you with a refreshing taste of the East and West. The chilled Earl Grey tea is elegantly decanted and poured over elder flower-infused ice cubes and grapes, presented with a freshly-baked Turkish delight.
