Another part of our Tagaytay road trip with foodie friends was to try out this new food park called The Barracks. (See related: Tabby Town Cat Cafe).

We were invited by The Barracks which is located just across Skyranch Tagaytay. As for its name, Barracks, it's military-themed, and like other food parks, it's al fresco. What I like about its ambiance is feeling the cool Tagaytay air compared to the hot and humid one in Manila.

Here are some good finds at The Barracks:
Juice towers to share with family and friends. Flavors: Pink Lychee Lemonade, Blue Lemonade, and Cucumber Lemonade. I like the cucumber lemonade best.
Mango Adobo Presley from Savage Pie. Who knew mango and adobo would go well as pizza. I'm all about ripe mangoes and this is a thumbs up for me.
A huge tray of potato beef overload as your pica-pica for your long catch-up conversation from Beef Overload.
Or have their all-day breakfast menu such as this enticing Tapsilog.
Meat lovers rejoice with 8-Spice's Meat Platter. It comes with a bucket of rice and a variety of sides and sauces.
Lechon Kawali by Frinze Cafe offers a variety of delectable lechon kawali dishes served on pans. Try out their Lechon Kawali with Bicol's Best Laing, Sinigang na Lechon Kawali, and Lechon Kawali in Thai Curry Sauce.
Their Barkada Meal is also good for sharing. It contains rice, lechon kawali, Bicol express, Bicol best laing, tortang talong with salted egg and onions and tomatoes.
Ningas Kugon serves grilled food served ala boodle style. Try out their Boodle Habits which is good for sharing.
They also serve ala carte orders.
Try Sizzling Steak House's T-Bone Steak, Porterhouse Steak, and Beef Salpicao.
For amazing burgers, try Selah Manna Burger. Flavors in the picture: Jalapeño; Baconized; Beer Cheese; Hawaiian: and Nashville.
Try the combination of calamari platter with fries or the flavored butterfly squid, sour cream flavor and soy glazed.
For chicken cravings, go to Hooaah. Try the Bang-Bang Chicken as well as the Hot & Spicy and Honey Mustard Buffalo Chicken Wings.
For kakain and pasalubong, buy some assorted treats from Owen Sophia House of Delicacies.
Another good take home is the Gourmet Tinapa and Tuyo.
