Siam Thai BBQ & Sports Bar
Had lunch in Kapitolyo, Pasig with foodie friends at Siam Thai BBQ and Sports Bar. Tried out their lunch sets, ala carte, and Thai BBQ.
Located inside Pioneer Center Supermart, 8006 Pioneer Street, Kapitolyo, Pasig City, Siam Thai is a Sports Bar with an outdoor and indoor (air-conditioned) seating area. They offer a wide range of local and imported beers, as well as other alcoholic beverages. We came here for lunch and tried the new lunch meals on the menu as well as some best-sellers.
Thai Milk Tea. Made from milk, tea, and sugar. Refreshing and sweet.
Tom Yam Soup. Spicy good. The spiciness got me a runny nose but I still had more.
Pork BBQ. Pork is tender and the taste is on the teriyaki side, Good.
Chicken Pandan. Juicy and good the pandan adds to the rich flavor of the chicken.
Seafood Combo. Enjoy it with other ala carte dishes or with rice.
Chicken Satay. Tender and good.
Crispy Catfish. Really crispy and goes well with its mango bagoong side.
Pad Thai Noodles. I love their pad thai. It also had a generous serving of peanuts.
Fresh Spring Rolls in Thai Dipping Sauce.
Fresh Salmon Salad in Thai Vinaigrette Dressing. It's served like the Filipino "kinilaw" and is spicy.
Thai BBQ Set. The Thai BBQ has the grill in the middle with the soup surrounding the grill. The broth they use is an original broth with basic spices and salt and pepper. As you grill the meat, the juices flow through the lines then drip to the soup. The taste of the broth also improves once you add the mushroom and vegetables.
Mango Sticky Rice. Thai dessert
Sweet Sago with Mango Buko. Rich and creamy.
Water Chestnut. Cold and refreshingly sweet.
