It was my first time to be invited for a foodie quiz night hosted by Zomato at 121 Bonifacio Stopover. Located at the third floor of BGC Stopover Pavillion, Rizal Drive corner 31st Street, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, this is 121's newest branch in the Metro,

Normally, they host their quiz nights at Allegro branch (this one is an exemption). I also figured out that they were the first ones to introduce beer pong here in the Philippines (cool, right?).

I had so much fun during the quiz night, and these are what we had:
121 Scandal. 121's special house recipe. Very refreshing but can get you drunk without your noticing it.

Lumpiang Shanghai. It was good with the right crunch but the meat was slightly undercooked.

Chicken Binakol. There were huge chunks of coconut in the binakol which I enjoyed. The chicken is also good but I find the soup a bit salty compared to the usual chicken binakol that I was used to.

Tuyo Fried Rice. This was really fragrant. You could smell the tuyo from afar, but it was surprisingly not salty which was a good thing. Tastes just right with the rice and was not overpowering. It has a bit of spice in it which works well with the other dishes served in 121.

Grilled Pork Liempo. It was really good and was tender. Goes well with the 121 sauce.

121 Sauce. 121's own sauce recipe. Tastes like Knorr seasoning with soy sauce and calamansi.

Sizzling Beef Salpicao. This is really tasty. The beef is tender and juicy. Mushrooms are juicy. Crunchy minced garlic with a good spice.

White Chocolate Cheesecake. Cold and sweet, I liked the idea of combining white chocolate and cheesecake. Not too sweet, tastes average. Graham base is also average.

Mandatory selfie with Jen (www.sandundermyfeet.com) during the quiz night. Their team was the one who won.
