Recently, we stayed in Taal Vista Hotel when we attended their Christmas for Always celebration. Check out our experience during our stay here. as well as their upcoming promotions for the holidays of 2019.

Taal Vista Hotel is located on Km. 60, Aguinaldo Highway, Tagaytay City. It is just a 5-minute walk from PAGCOR Casino and a 10-minute drive from Picnic Grove. During our stay, we had the Deluxe Twin Room at the Lake Wing. The hotel has stylishly appointed rooms that are all individually air-conditioned, and are fully-equipped with modern amenities and complimentary WiFi internet access.
Each room has a safety deposit box, closet, and iron/ironing facilities. The ironing facility is actually my favorite feature in this hotel. I'm quite conscious about what I wear and sometimes, my outfit gets wrinkled in my luggage so I always bring a portable iron with me. Good thing that they have a steamer iron in every room. I was so glad that they had this, really. Laundry services are also available at the hotel.
The bathroom features free toiletries and fresh towels. Bathrobes are available upon request. Hot/cold shower and bidet is also available.
Premium beddings are provided with a generous amount of pillows. I love their pillows. I had a really good sleep in this room.
Sockets near the bed, a landline, and wake-up service calls are also available.
The desk area has an LCD television with satellite channels and radio channels, and a refrigerator underneath. they also have a minibar with refillable drinking water (you can refill it at the water stations along the hallway) and electric kettle. The hairdryer is placed under the desk along with a directory for the hotel's services and Tagaytay's emergency numbers.
Received this wonderful gingerbread house as a welcome gift. You can also order some at their Cakeshop as a Christmas Pasalubong.
It's Christmas Season! Here are the Yuletide Happenings at Taal Vista Hotel:

The Veranda
The Veranda is Taal Vista Hotel's buffet restaurant which features Filipino and international gastronomic delights. It's most popular during breakfast with an amazing spread. I was able to try it for lunch and dinner on the first day, and breakfast on the following day.
Its interiors feature a shabby chic design. It's well-lit with light colors of nature and some floral designs. It's a very relaxing sight.
During weekends, they feature a cultural show at lunch and dinner. They have amazing performers that will make your heads turn and watch them in awe.
The Veranda's spread features a wide selection of local and international dishes: from the appetizers to salads, the mains and carving station, the Mongolian and pizza station, to the kids' station, drink bar, and dessert station.
Here are my favorite dishes at the Veranda:
The porchetta had an amazing crispy skin with juicy and tender meat. It's good with or without the sauce.
Another version of that delicious pork is their lechon kawali. Definitely done right. You can hear it's crispiness with every bite.
The Pinaputok na Bangus seems underrated as most people would go for the fish near the carving station. I just love how they made this and that fatty bangus belly.
Among the desserts, the kutsinta, added with some latik is a favorite for me, as well as the maja. Our friend, Mike, recommends the espasol which is also delectable.
The halo-halo is something that I go back to whenever available because I love the mixture of milk and shaved ice, with ube and leche flan. It's DIY so you can make it to your heart's desire.

Outside is their viewing deck with features a beautiful view of Taal Lake.
You can simply chill here and enjoy the cold Tagaytay breeze. They also have a fireplace in the evening.
The garden also has amazing spots to take photos.
Other amenities of the hotel include an outdoor swimming pool, kids playroom, spa and wellness center, and a fitness center.
The Lobby Lounge also features amazing performers from time-to-time and you can also order dishes here a la carte. Another restaurant at the hotel is Taza which features the chef's special.
