Grand Xing Imperial (Iloilo)

We stayed in this hotel during the Dinagyang Festival with blogger friends from AirAsia this year. Sharing about Grand Xing Imperial.

Grand Xing Imperial is located at H. Montinola Corner Muelle Loney St., Brgy. President Roxas, Iloilo City, Philippines. With their slogan, "Luxury You Can Afford," the hotel has amenities such as an infinity pool which gives a view of the city, buffet restaurant, function halls, and KTV rooms. 

Our room was cozy, has free WiFi, television, kettle, and complimentary drinks. 

What I liked about their complimentary toiletries is that they offer a face mask. The downside, though: there was no hairdryer, no robes, and you need to pay a certain fee to borrow a flat iron (most hotels that I have been to, offer this for free). 

At least they left a welcome gift in the room. 

The breakfast buffet was good, which they offer in both towers.

We were not able to spend much time in the hotel because of our hectic schedule during the festival. The room was cozy but another thing that disappointed me was their security and service. A relative of mine who was in Iloilo knew that I was staying at this hotel had sent me a gift. I never received the package and I only found out about it when I was already back in Manila. He sent it a day before I checked out of the hotel but they never informed me about it. Also, I was surprised that my relatives found out about my room number, which I never gave to anyone. They simply asked the concierge and gave it to them right away, without even verifying. So what if an actual stranger asked for my room and they just gave it right away? Smh.
