I always pass by Nori whenever I am in Kapitolyo but from the outside, I always thought that it was a Japanese restaurant about to open real soon. I only found out that they are already functioning through my boss who decided that we dine there for lunch (he knows I'm a blogger. Lol).

Located at 1st Street, Kapitolyo, Pasig City, Nori is a small restaurant designed with newspapers all over the place. This is why I thought that they were still closed and about to open soon. From the outside, it looked like it was still under construction. The interiors looked like it was not thought through. When we dined at the place, they were still on their soft opening phase and I hope that there will still be improvements at this restaurant including the menu since there are really few choices available.

Here are the things that we had:

House Blend Iced Tea. Tastes like your average iced tea with some orange concentrate.

Service Water. I have to include this because I noticed that they serve cucumber water. Apart from the usual lemon water, I have searched that drinking cucumber water also have a lot of health benefits (See: 8 Great Benefits of Cucumber Water); only, it tastes unusual for me.

Angus Beef Teriyaki. The meat is juicy and tasty with the right amount of sauce. Price is also justified by the serving. Recommending this one.

Chicken Teriyaki Sushi Burrito. When I ordered this, I was asked about my wrap of choice and I chose the nori wrap (the other choice was soy paper). Served with chips and dip, the chips were not as crispy and tasty as the commercial potato chips that I had. The sushi burrito was served with foil which disappointed me especially when I opened it because it was not able to hold the sushi burrito in place. It just broke the idea of a sushi and a burrito. The chicken was good but it did not taste like chicken teriyaki to me. The sumeshi tasted like regular home-cooked rice, a bit far from the usual taste of sushi rice. Amount of serving is reasonable for the price, though.
