In line with Marco Polo Ortigas Manila’s positioning in the Manila restaurant landscape, Cucina’s distinctive character-building is different from the usual hotel food & beverage outlets. It is the hotel’s all-day dining restaurant situated at the 24th floor Sky Lobby. I was invited to dine at Cucina's Dinner Buffet in Marco Polo Ortigas Manila. Sharing about my Cucina dining experience.

It has a unique dining design with open kitchens that provides an intimate proximity to expert chefs in action. The setting of a cool and clean design elements guides diners through a sensuality of wood, glass, and earth tone elements. Its distinguished interiors were elaborated by a young Filipino national artist – Jinggoy Buensuceso, along with its floor to ceiling windows that provide the perfect dining backdrop to the city skyline. I love the high ceiling of the interiors of Cucina, as well as the lights and ambiance. It's cozy and classy at the same time. The staff is friendly and accommodating.

It is a diverse showcase of live action stations featuring a symphony of flavors from the world’s different culinary capitals. It has nine stations, catering different cuisines, each with a unique taste. The food is made in front of you so you know that it's fresh. They also expanded their Japanese station.

Cucina offers a versatile dining experience complemented by a well-curated spread of international cuisine that are heavy on flavors and is made from superior ingredients. From the Seafood Station, Asian Noodles and Pasta, Carving, Cheeses and Cold Cuts and Desserts, Cucina promises to be a one-stop-shop for all the finest flavors that diners’ palates are looking for.
From the usual symphony of taste, Cucina is consistently seen in bringing something new to the table with different station highlights that change on a monthly or seasonal basis. The talented kitchen team never stops in its pursuit on what the market wants when it comes to culinary cravings.
Although the buffet has limited choices compared to other buffets I've been to, the unique dishes that they offer gives them an edge. Food is also good.
Top picks: Their Signature Paella is a blockbuster, especially to foreigners. Their homemade ice cream is also a favorite.
Other things that I like about Cucina: Really fast wifi connection.
