Joy Bus: Travel to Baler, Aurora, Philippines

It's my first time to visit Baler and I had to ask my friends for advice on what to take to get there. I planned our Holy Week trip with my family here and I was advised by my friends to take the Joy Bus. Joy Bus is the executive coach of Genesis which gives you a "first class" experience on your way to Baler. With a stewardess and comfort room on board, free WiFi, snacks, and blankets provided, you are sure to ride in comfort. :)

We had a bit of difficulty having our trip booked to Baler for the Holy Week since most trips were already fully booked. All of the first class rides with recliners were no longer available and we were offered a cheaper trip but was still considered first class (that's what they said.. meh.).

The ride consisted of a capacity of up to 40 passengers with wide space between rows. The only difference here is that the seats were not recliner type.

Blankets, drinking water and a light snack was provided.

There is a comfort room on board and there is no stop over so travelling to Baler is much faster. The average trip is about 5 1/2 to 6 hours. On holidays, such as during Holy Week (or long weekends in Manila), it took us about 8 hours before arriving in Baler. (This is due to the long lines on expressway toll booths). On our way home, it only took us 5 1/2 hours.

There is a friendly stewardess on board who can give you assistance and may freely answer your queries about the trip. There is free WiFi as well but I would not recommend on you to rely on it since the connection is very slow.
