We are back at Hole in the Wall to try out the dishes of Famry. They gave a new delicious twist to Chinese cuisine favorites.
Famry is located in Hole in the Wall, on the fourth floor of Century City Mall, Kalayaan Avenue, Poblacion, Makati City. (See related: Any Any)
Here are Famry's dishes:
Jianbing. Street food done Famry-style. Crispy egg pancake stuffed with soy & five-spice pulled roast pork. This is sating and also a good on-the-go food. Tastes good, too.
Spicy Dumplings. Handmade pork dumplings steamed and served with a tangy, sweet sauce. Topped with cilantro. It's like the typical dumpling; the sauce makes it special.
Bunplings. a.k.a. shenjianbao, a cross between a xiaolongbao and a bao. Pan-fried dumplings with a pork and soup filling. I love both types of baos, and this hybrid is definitely a winning innovation. Too bad I had to share this with my friends; I would have had this all for myself. lol.
Minced Pork Rice with Soy Egg. Fragrant, slow-braised pork served over steaming hot rice. This one is good, tasty, and non-spicy, but for their rice meals, I prefer the crispy duck rice.
Crispy Duck Rice with Soy Egg. Pan-fried duck on steaming hot rice. Served with crispy duck skin. The duck skin is a must-try (specially if you like crispy chicken skin or lechon skin)! This dish is spicy and the duck is well-seasoned and good. I love this dish.
