At Applebee's Grill and Bar, there is always a reason to celebrate; they opened their second branch at Eastwood City, Libis, Quezon City. I was able to attend the media launch of their second branch and was able to try their famous dishes.

Applebee's Grill and Bar brings together a lively bar and grill experience offering handcrafted drinks and innovative appetizers and entrees featuring bold flavors and fresh ingredients. All Applebee's restaurants are owned and operated by entrepreneurs dedicated to serving their communities and offering the best in food and drinks with neighborly, genuine service. With more than 2000 locations in 49 states, Guam, Puerto Rico, and 15 countries, Applebee's is one of the world's largest casual dining brands. Applebee's restaurants are franchised by Applebee's Franchisor LLC, a subsidiary of DineEquity, Inc. (NYSE: DIN), and its affiliates. Applebee's Philippines now has 2 branches: Bonifacio Global City and their new branch in Eastwood City.

Sharing about the dishes that we tried during their media launch:
Shiracha Shrimp. Crispy shrimp coated with rich and creamy Sriracha chili-lime dip. Sweet and spicy, but tastes really good. Tender and well-cooked. I love this appetizer.
Double Crunch Bone-In Wings. Double fried wings with a choice of Honey BBQ, Sweet & Spicy, Classic Buffalo, or Korean BBQ sauce. We tried the classic flavor. The skin is slightly salty, tastes average.
Wonton Taco. Spicy chicken-stuffed wonton shells, coleslaw and cilantro. The chicken had this sweet taste, quite similar to teriyaki. I love the combination of the shells, chicken and coleslaw. Tastes good.
Pork Ribs. BBQ pork ribs marinated in Applebee's special house blend grilled to perfection, served with corn on the cob, french fries and coleslaw with a choice of Honey BBQ sauce, Smoky Chiptotle, spicy sweet Asian chili and Korean BBQ sauce. The ribs are tender and juicy.
Fiesta Lime Chicken. Grilled chicken done fiesta-style with zesty lime sauce, Mexi-ranch and Jack-cheddar. Served with crisp tortilla strips, mexi-rice and freshly-made pico de gallo. The mexi-rice is really tasty and good; reminds me of salsa. The chicken is tender and the cheese and chicken combination is also good.
Quesadilla Burger. Juicy burger with Applebee's signature Mexi-ranch sauce with pico de gallo and shredded lettuce served in a unique Jack and Cheddar quesadilla. Fries are good. Instead of buns for the burger, they used quesadilla which is also good. The patty is thick and tender.
Butter Pecan Blondie. Baked with nuts, topped with ice cream, glazed pecans and cream cheese sauce, and served sizzling.
Churros S'mores. Churro twists, toasted marshmallow and chocolate dip.
Black Forest. Brownie chunks, vanilla ice cream, Grand Marnier cherries, and strawberry jam topped with whipped cream and a Maraschino cherry. Garnished with a hot fudge and pecan nut brim.
Hot Coffee. Freshly brewed coffee.
