Azalea Hotels & Residences (Baguio)

Summer has begun and my blogger friends and I are spending our weekend at the Summer Capital of the Philippines. We stayed in Azalea Residences for the rest of our weekend vacation.
The first 4-star serviced apartment hotel in Baguio City, Azalea Hotels & Residences enriches the Baguio holiday experience with its full services and amenities of a multi-use serviced apartment, complete with living, dining, and kitchen facilities in all its suites.
One cannot miss the eye-catching facade that makes up Azalea Hotels & Residences Baguio. Resembling a ski-resort, the structure is a clever inspiration for the Summer Capital's first vacation residence that brings thoughts of family vacations and friendly holidays. The towering facade sets the stage for what promises to be one of the most cherished Baguio holiday experience. After all, nowhere else can one find a place that has the conveniences of a hotel and the full services and amenities of a serviced-apartment. Azalea Residences is the place to be for families, friends, or business travelers on the lookout for the luxury of a hotel but with the atmosphere and comforts of home. Located a few minutes away from Session Road, Azalea is quietly tucked in a secluded hill that promises both the peace and gentleness of country living and the proximity to the city's main attractions and happenings.
Now let's see the room where we stayed in:
We stayed in the Two-Bedroom Apartment Suite which is 60 sqm. A maximum of six persons is allowed to check-in here.
Just like in luxury hotels, the room has an electronic identification door lock system, electronic in-room safe, the bathrooms have a hot and cold shower with Azalea-branded bath amenities (they smell so good); they also provide a hairdryer, vanity mirrors, robes, and an ironing facility. Cribs are also available upon request.
The room has a Master's bedroom with a queen-sized bed (this is where Bettina of BettinaBacani.com and I stayed--it also has its own bathroom), a guest room with one double-sized bed (Richie, the Pickiest Eater in the World stayed here), and one convertible sofa bed (Mark of Eatsplorations' bed). The living room and bedrooms all have an LCD TV with DVD player as well as cable channels and an analog telephone.
They got ultra comfortable beds with imported linens which make falling asleep so easy and getting out of bed so difficult.
The kitchen and dining area has electronic cooktops with range hood, a microwave oven, rice cooker, refrigerator, electric water kettle, dinnerware set, silverware set, pots and pans (these are in the drawer, I wasn't able to take a picture), complimentary tea and coffee amenity set, and complimentary bottled water. They also provide in-room dining. There are also smoke detectors and sprinkler system inside the rooms. The two-bedroom apartment suite also has a balcony which gives you a good view of Baguio City. Complimentary WiFi access is also available.
Other rooms/suites:
Deluxe Hotel Room. For smaller groups, such as smaller families and couples (maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 kids), the deluxe hotel room also offers the same amenities as what we have in our room.
Loft Bedroom. Recommended for a group of friends on a Baguio getaway. For more rooms and rates, visit their site here
Dining
Tradisyon. The hotel offers complimentary hotel breakfast buffet to their guest which we had here. They also offer other promotions for the rest of the day as well as different themes per day which I will share in a separate blog post.

8 Degrees Bar Lounge.
Chill out for a nightcap at 8 Degrees, aptly called as Baguio is always eight degrees cooler than the lowlands.
