Delectable Mexican dinner with my family at Gringo's on a rainy weekday evening. Sharing the experience.
Located in the third floor of The Atrium in SM Megamall, Ortigas, Mandaluyong City, Gringo is known for serving uniquely spiced Mexican dishes paired with interiors that give off an authentic Mexican dining experience.
Here are the dishes that we tried:
Gringo Baby Back Ribs (Half Rack + 2 sides). Gringo's home-style BBQ sauce and Pablo's signature marinade come together. Sides: White rice and buttered corn. The ribs are really tender and rich in flavor. Goes well with the sides.
Gringo Southern Spice Chicken (Half + 3 sides). Gringo's famous chicken made extra delicioso with a distinctly Latino flavor. Sides: White rice, mashed potato, marbled potato salad. I like this a lot. The chicken is really juicy and has some sweetness in it. I also like the mashed potato.
Gringo Original Chicken (Half + 3 sides). Sides: White rice, garlic mushroom, macaroni salad. The original chicken is baked in different spices. Also juicy with some spice. I thought the southern spice would taste spicier but I find this one more on the spicy side and the southern spice chicken on the sweet-savory side.

It was a weekday holiday and my family decided to go shopping in SM Megamall. I figured I still have some gift certificates from Gringo (disclaimer here) so we tried it out for dinner.
