Good food and sangria. Had a delectable afternoon meal at Fireside by Kettle.

Fireside is located on the ground floor of Central Square, 5th Avenue corner 30th Street, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, (Other branches: Power Plant Mall, SM Mega Fashion Hall). I love the cozy ambiance of the place; it gets better with the food.
Here are the ones that my friends and I have tried:
Red and White Sangria. I actually had both of these and they are both good. It's refreshing and the mix is just right. They also have happy hours where you can order these for 50% off. (Happy Hours: Monday to Friday, 3 pm to 6 pm and 9 pm to 10 pm).
Sweet Corn Cappuccino. Cream of corn and lemongrass soup in a cup. Milk foam. Popcorn salt. I find it creative that they came up with this concept. It's best to sip this foamy and delicious soup. Smells delectable, too.
Grilled Tomato and Chorizo Soup. Hearty tomato. Chorizo bits. Cheddar parmesan bread. I like the consistency of this soup. It's not too flowy nor too viscous. Sweet tomato taste.
Mascarpone Cheesecake. Sweet and savory cheesecake dip. Arugula croutons. Sweet tomato jam. My favorite appetizer. I love the mix of the cold cheesecake dip and sweet tomato jam. There's also a good balance of textures and taste from the bread, arugula, and dip.
Brisket Sisig. Fireside's version of the Filipino bar chow classic. Sauteed US Angus brisket chunks, onions, jalapeños, red pepper and green onion coulis. For this dish, you may order an egg to go along with it or on the side. This bar chow is meant for the cocktails but works best also with their garlic rice. Rich in flavor and I like the spice coming from the jalapeños.
Buttermilk Fried Chicken Fingers. 24 hour brined. Cajun Ritz breading. Cajun honey. Gravy. Cornbread doughnuts. This tastes good from skin to the meat. The gravy and honey is actually recommended by the chef to be eaten mixed. The cornbread is also good.
Grilled Halibut. Pan seared halibut. Bacon vinaigrette. Quinoa veggie salad. Fresh and light feel. Salmon is tender. A healthy option.
50/50 Meatloaf. Not your ordinary meatloaf. 50% ground bacon. 50% ground Angus beef. Barbecue sauce. Garlic mashed potatoes. The mashed potato is really good. Serving size is also good. It's meatloaf but tastes as good as having ribs with the barbecue sauce.
Homemade Smores.
Banana Foster Creme Brulee.
Ube Shake and Bake. According to Chef Chiloy, this was an experiment. Ube cake that's blended with ube milkshake. Wow. Surprisingly good!
